Dear Friends,

Due to our current rate of Covid cases in Burghfield, as well as the fact that I have tested positive for Covid myself and will need to isolate till 25th December, we have taken the decision to have all our services online (Zoom) for the rest of the year. Unless anything changes, our services will resume in church on Sunday 2nd January 2022.

Please note that church will not be closed and will continue to be open during daylight hours, for you to come and find some peace and quiet or take time to pray and light a candle.

For all details and Zoom links to our services please see our:

website www.stmarysburghfield.org

or our Facebook page ‘St Mary’s Church Burghfield’

With every Blessing to you, your family and friends as we celebrate the birth of the Christ-Child once again.

Christingle Service—Now on zoom only

New update!

This service will now take place on Zoom only.

We look forward to welcoming you via zoom at 4 pm:

PLEASE REGISTER ON EVENTBRITE FOR TICKETS HERE,

You will receive an email with instructions on how to receive kits.

If you have any questions at all do please get in touch with us.
Happy Christmas from us all at St Mary’s!

Read on if intending to come via Zoom

To fully take part at home you will need to have a Christingle kit.

(If you don’t have a kit you will still be able to enjoy the service, but sadly you’ll have no beautiful Christingle of your own at the end!)

A representative will be in church from 10am-1pm on Friday 24th for you to collect kits for your children. If for any reason you can’t collect we will try to deliver your Christingle kits to you, provided you live locally.

Just let us know by sending us an email. or message

All the details to join will be emailed to you and posted here.
(If your party will now be accessing the service by more than one device it would be really good if you could email us to say so, so we know who to expect. A note of each family name you expect to be  joining would be useful (if we don’t already have this))

Boxing Day – Sunday 26th December – Diocesan Provision for Church at Home services

The diocese is providing two alternative services on Sunday 26 December for congregations to tune into. One will come to you from the Cathedral; the other will be parish worship.

· A 9:30am Eucharist will be livestreamed from St Paul’s Wokingham, without a choir, but with organ and carols.

The 11am service from the Cathedral is a congregational Eucharist without a choir, but with organ and carols.

Both services are live, and you’ll find stream links on the diocesan livestreaming webpage
