It’s not all about the fabulous creativity in our community, although the church will be full of beautiful things to see on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June…
As it is an anniversary we are also looking back, and celebrating life and community in this place over the decades and centuries. It will be fascinating to compare now with then, don’t you think, Burghfield Community?
So today’s “sneak preview” is to reveal that we will have Malcolm Summers (recently retired deputy head of The Willink School) attending the Festival on Saturday (times tbc), and he will chat to you about his great book on Henry George Willink, and even sign a copy for you if you want your very own record of (a very significant) life in this place.
We have so much to celebrate: hope to see you there, 10-5 on both days (service at 10-11 on Sunday). Bring your friends too, and enjoy our famous tea and cakes together!
